This book will not help you improve your golf skills, but it will entertain you while learning some very interesting facts about the beloved sport of Golf. Whether you’re an avid golfer or just enjoy watching it on TV, this book will delight.
Tee off this golf season with these 101 stories, trivia facts and fun tales for both golf lovers and trivia buffs alike. McPherson has done it again with his second 101 Fascinating Fact books, but this time it isn’t Music but Golf. This seems fitting, seeing McPherson has been a Golf Journalist for over 25 years.
Without giving away anymore of the golf facts, like the story behind the word “Mulligan” or about the most expensive golf course in the world. These two facts are told on the back of the book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoy short stories, sports, golf, trivia or would make a great bathroom read. These short stories and facts are the type of thing you can take up and put down anytime, you're looking for a nice way to relax and learn something new. I’m not a golf buff or a avid player, but I enjoy anything about sports or a trivia based book. A book like this would make a great gift.
