In concussion, baby, Ellen Chang-Richardson excavates the realities of living with traumatic brain injuries and post-concussion syndrome.
I was intrigued by the various concrete forms for the poems and loved how the shapes accentuated the meaning. Having had a concussion, it was very relatable, but anyone would enjoy the excellent poetry.
concussion, baby is full of imaginative, beautiful writing and playful imagery. Ellen Chang-Richardson is a true artist. Their poetry will make you think, but more importantly how it will make you feel. Read it, absorb it, and reflect upon it.
What a great chapbook!
